Tekla Waterfield & Jeff Fielder 2nd Anniversary Show

Tuesday, September 1st at 7:00 pm PDT

Seattle based singer/songwriter and 2018 Listen Up! Women in Music grant recipient, Tekla Waterfield lives in the realm of Indie music, incorporating elements of folk, country, rhythm and blues, and soul. With influences ranging from Courtney Barnett to Aimee Mann, Jim James, Wilco, The Velvet Underground and Marvin Gaye, Waterfield aims to tell a story, paint a picture and evoke emotion with her songs.

Partnering with collaborator and husband, Jeff Fielder (Mark Lanegan, Amy Ray) to produce her 2018 release, The Curtain Falls, garnered Waterfield critical acclaim, radio play, and placement in the award-winning indie film, “Dakota” with her song, Rock and Roll Man. Songs from her 2015 release, This Nightlife is Wearing on Me, were placed in indie films, “Beverly Hills Bandits” and “Undeserved”. The music video for Waterfield’s song, Nice Try, from 2018 release, The Curtain Falls, was selected by the One Reel Film Festival to be screened/presented by the Seattle International Film Festival at the 2019 Bumbershoot Art and Music Festival.

Jeff Fielder has been working as a professional musician for 25 years. Working for the last 10 as a touring guitarist for a number of national and global acts. These include being the guitarist and musical director for Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Queens Of The Stone Age) for 10 years, and the guitarist and co-producer for Amy Ray (Indigo Girls) for 8 years. Jeff most recently landed a touring guitar slot with Indigo Girls for the now postponed summer tour.
