Daniel Rapport

Daniel Rapport is a Seattle-native, multi-instrument musician, composer, and music educator. He has a degree in Ethnomusicology from the University of Washington and played guitar in the legendary Garfield High School Jazz Ensemble. He has performed and recorded with many local artists including: Macklemore, Blue Scholars, The Seattle Rock Orchestra, Big World Breaks, and The Pazific. He currently fronts his own group The Daniel Rapport Trio, who recently released their debut full length of originals titled, “Sunrise High.” As well as playing in The Blue Tide: his acoustic blues duo with harmonica player Jesse Hagopian, Gems: his electronic four piece, and The Lonely Children: a post rock group with Jim Roth and Jacob Evans.
